Lyric is a dog that is lucky to be alive yet not only alive but thrived!  I saw her at 7 weeks (her mother at the time was so owned) and she did not impress me and I had planned to pet her out, three weeks later I repossessed her, her siblings and some other dogs when I found out the “friend” was running a toy Aussie puppy mill out of a shed and her boyfriend was a pedophile.

When I got them back I was horrified.  Else had so many flea bites her hair was gone on her rear – the half litter that went back (I had taken my half and they were fine) literally were sickly.  It took two months before I could believe she was out of the woods.and my friends who raise MAS had a singleton that needed a friend so I sent her up to Fran who literally I believe was why she is sound today.

I had no illusions she would be able to show so I was looking for a pet home when Kim called me – she is like ‘You need to see this bitch’ and I was like umm okay.  When I saw her I was astounded at her beauty – the sickly baby that looked hunchbacked and literally drug her rear was a gorgeous bubbly swan – happy and healthy!!!  I just cried buckets – not because she could show but because she was healthy and had no scars.

I told Kim that the only way we would show her is if she and Fran were a part of it as well as her “pet” mom Linda – and in her short career Lyric was amazing, she racked up points or was reserve almost every time she hit the ring – the only other dog who was getting points as quick was her grandfather Sting.  Then COVID came and the shows stopped.

We do plan to finish her but because of her age and the back up of COVID (and her handler retired) we plan to breed her first, she is everything we have ever wanted and has the best front I have ever seen – she is a success story and an absolute love!
